Lavender Martini


Ingredients:

  • 1 ounce Vodka

  • 1/2 ounce fresh lemon juice

  • 1/4 ounce lavender syrup

  • 1 cup water

  • 1 cup sugar

  • 1 tablespoon dried lavender buds




Instructions:

Lavender Syrup (make first)

  1. In a small saucepan, combine 1 cup water and 1 cup sugar.

  2. Bring to a gentle boil, stirring until the sugar dissolves.

  3. Remove from heat, add 1 tablespoon dried lavender buds, and let steep for 15–20 minutes (depending on how strong you want the lavender flavor).

  4. Strain out the lavender buds and let the syrup cool. Store in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.


Lavender Martini

  1. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.

  2. Add vodka, lemon juice, and lavender syrup.

  3. Shake well until chilled.

  4. Strain into a chilled martini glass.

  5. Garnish with a lemon twist or a sprig of lavender (optional).
